MENTOR PROGRAM

"A network of friends that share AE Advice"

about

The SSAE Mentor Program connects older AE students and alumni with younger AE students who are following in their footsteps by structuring the passing of knowledge about the Architectural Engineering program and profession.  We plan & hold various activities that encourage
  • team building,
  • professional preparation,
  • philanthropy, and
  • communication across years and options.
Since its creation in September 2009 by Kyle Courtney, Bryan Darrin, Simi Veit, and Josh Wentz, SSAE’s recreated presence within the department has quadrupled student membership.  Currently we have over 200 active student members and over 40 alumni members.

mentor/mentee network

Second through fifth year AE students will be a Mentor and/or be a Mentee. This way you will have a place to go for support, as well as being able to help others with the knowldge you have already gained. These different linked networks will be separated into four AE houses. Each year houses will compete through a point system for an award and bragging rights.
