THON, Penn State's IFC/ Panhellenic Dance Marathon, is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. Students raise money throughout the year to help the fight against pediatric cancer and the families that go through it. All the money raised goes to the Four Diamonds fund to assist those in need. At the end of the fundraising effort, each year is a 46-hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon. SSAE proudly helps fundraise for THON with events throughout the year and individual contributions. 

 

As a club in 2023, we proudly raised $7,380.18 towards a total of $15,006,132.42.

 

SSAE has been participating in THON for a number of years. We are not currently paired with a THON family; however, throughout the year, we get together to raise money so that one day we can dance to celebrate a cure.
